   The auction doesn’t stop when the internet does

   Community halls, school grounds, society clubhouses — the connection drops, and on every cloud-only platform the room goes silent with 200 people watching. NammaBid runs the auction on the operator’s laptop and drives the projector straight from it, so neither one needs the internet to reach the other. Bids don’t vanish, the big screen doesn’t freeze, and if the laptop restarts mid-auction it comes back exactly where it was. Everything syncs the moment the connection returns.

   Max-bid maths, so the last hour doesn’t turn into an argument

   A team with ₹40,000 left and 4 slots to fill at ₹5,000 base can’t actually bid ₹40,000 — their real ceiling is ₹25,000. Most tools track the purse and miss this, then the auction falls apart at the end. We enforce it live, and show every owner exactly what they can spend.

   Big screen for the crowd, live view on every phone

   One operator drives the auction from a laptop. The projector shows the player, the bid and who’s holding it. Owners, players and families follow along on a link that needs no login. It feels like the real thing, because that’s the whole point of an auction.

   Projector

   Name, photo, bid, the crest of the team holding it, your sponsors. A SOLD card in the buyer’s colour with their crest beside the face.

   Phones

   The same, on a public link. Owners mark their team and see their purse and max bid.

   Console

   Everything. Keyboard-driven — 1–9 bid, ↵ sells, Z undoes — because a mouse is what goes wrong when the table gets bumped.

   The tournament after the auction, on the same link

   The auction decides the squads; the matches decide the trophy. Fixtures come from the teams you already have — pools, semi-finals or IPL-style playoffs, with the knockouts filling themselves in from the results. A scorer taps each ball on a phone, offline if the ground has no signal, and every match has a live scoreboard and the points table on the public link. Nobody retypes a single name.

   Scorer

   The XIs preselected from the auction squads. 0 1 2 3 4 6, wide, no-ball, bye, wicket, undo — and the next batter or bowler asked for exactly when needed.

   Crowd

   Live scoreboard on every phone within a second of each ball; the table with net run rate; a result card for the group.

   Ground

   The same projector mode as the auction, now a scoreboard in the two teams’ colours — with your sponsors still on it.

   Add teams, set each purse, and bring players in by pasting from Excel or sharing a registration link. Base prices, categories and squad limits are yours to set. We build it with you over WhatsApp and send the link and a PIN.

   One operator drives it from a laptop. Projector mode fills the screen behind them, and everyone in the room follows on their phone. Purses update themselves after every SOLD, the next player comes up on their own, and if the wifi goes nobody in the room finds out.

   Final rosters, spend breakdowns and shareable team cards the moment the last player goes. Export to PDF or Excel, drop it straight into the tournament WhatsApp group before anyone has left their seat.

What does it actually cost?

₹1,999 for the auction, for up to 16 teams — about ₹250 a team in an eight-team tournament, and you're collecting from team owners anyway. Six teams or sixteen, same price: we don't bill by team count. Past 16 teams it is a multi-day event with more on our side too, so we quote those separately. If you want the whole tournament scored after it — fixtures, live scoreboards, the points table — that's ₹2,999 for the auction and the season together, however many matches — a thousand rupees more, with nothing billed per match. And if you're running 4 teams or fewer the auction is free, with every feature.

How does the match scoring work?

After the auction, the Matches tab lays out the fixtures from your teams — one group, or pools with semi-finals or playoffs — and each match gets its own link for the scorer. On a phone, the scorer confirms the XI (preselected from the squad), records the toss, and then taps each ball: runs, extras, wickets, undo. The engine handles strike rotation, free hits, overs and the result. It keeps working with no signal and syncs when the phone finds some. Everyone else watches the scoreboard and the table on the public link — no app, no login, and nothing to pay.

Do team owners bid from their own phones?

Not yet. One operator enters the bids while the room watches on the projector and on their phones — that's how these events actually run, and it keeps the auction fast and dispute-free. Bidding directly from owners' phones is on the roadmap for remote auctions.

Can I use it for football, volleyball or kabaddi?

Not yet — cricket first, and properly. The auction engine itself has nothing cricket-specific in it, but player roles do, so other sports are coming rather than here. Tell us which one you run and it moves up the list.

How do players register?

Two ways. Paste your existing list straight from Excel, or share a registration link that collects names, photos, roles and contact numbers for you to approve.

Is it ready to use?

Yes — it's live at app.nammabid.com. There's no sign-up page on purpose: we set every tournament up by hand and send you a link and a PIN, because the first thing that goes wrong on auction night should be answered by a person, not a help centre. Message us with your date and we'll have it ready before it.

Do you have RTM cards?

Not yet, and we'd rather say so than list it and disappoint you on the day. Right-to-Match is the next thing being built. Everything else on the pricing list — team crests included — works today.
